1. Introduction

Welcome to Catholic AI, a service provided by Catholic AI Inc., a Florida corporation ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using the Catholic AI website or mobile app (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").

If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

Service - All websites, mobile applications, and related offerings operated by Catholic AI Inc.
User - Any individual accessing or using the Service.
Account - A registered user profile used to access certain Service features.
Content - Text, images, videos, audio, AI-generated material, and other data displayed through the Service.

3. Acknowledgment

These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Catholic AI Inc.

You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with them.

Use of the Service also constitutes acceptance of our Privacy Policy.

4. Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

However, for AI-generated content (such as text, images, music, or other media produced through the Catholic AI platform):

1. User Rights

You retain ownership rights in the AI-generated content you create using the Service, to the extent permitted by law.
You may use, share, reproduce, and distribute the content you generate for personal or commercial purposes, provided such use does not violate these Terms or applicable laws (including religious, ethical, or moral restrictions consistent with Catholic values).

2. Catholic AI Rights

Catholic AI Inc. retains a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and analyze generated content:
- to operate and improve the Service;
- to ensure compliance with these Terms and applicable law; and
- to develop and enhance AI features (for example, through aggregated or anonymized learning).
- to use the content for marketing and promotional purposes.
Catholic AI does not claim exclusive ownership of your individual generated works.

3. Shared and Public Content

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you generate and share does not infringe third-party rights (e.g., trademarks, likeness rights, or copyrighted materials).

4. Moral and Ethical Use

Catholic AI reserves the right to remove or restrict access to generated content that conflicts with Catholic moral teaching, promotes harm, or violates our Acceptable Use standards.

8. AI-Generated Content and Usage Limits

AI-generated text, music, or imagery is provided for personal use only.

We may impose dynamic usage limits or content restrictions to maintain fair access, performance, and compliance.

9. Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant Catholic AI Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback without obligation to you.

10. Purchases and Subscriptions

Catholic AI may offer paid features and auto-renewable subscriptions that can be purchased through multiple platforms.

a. Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Payment processing depends on where you subscribed:
- Apple App Store – Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in Apple Account Settings.
- Google Play Store – Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play Account Settings.
- Catholic AI Website (Stripe) – Payments are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. You can manage or cancel web-based subscriptions by contacting [email protected] or via your account settings if available.
If billing fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment is resolved.
Prices and available plans may vary by platform and region. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and require your consent before renewal.

b. Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or by the refund policies of the respective platform (Apple, Google, or Stripe).

Each platform's own terms govern refund processing:

Apple: handled directly through Apple's refund system.
Google: handled through Google Play's refund center.
Stripe/Web: handled by Catholic AI Inc. in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

c. Service Commitment

You will receive the features and access described for your selected plan throughout the subscription period.

If we are unable to deliver the Service due to maintenance, technical issues, or other failures under our control, we may, at our discretion, provide limited credits or partial refunds as appropriate.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you violate these Terms or applicable law.

You may cancel at any time by discontinuing use and deleting your Account.

Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catholic AI Inc. and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Use is at your own risk.

14. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us with:

Identification of the copyrighted work;
Description and URL of the material in question;
Your contact details;
A good-faith statement of unauthorized use; and
A declaration under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act.

16. Compliance with Catholic Teaching

We reserve the right to remove content inconsistent with this mission.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.

Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules in Florida, unless prohibited by law.

You waive any right to participate in class actions or jury trials.

18. Severability and Waiver

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining sections remain valid.

Failure to enforce a term does not constitute a waiver.

19. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time.

Material changes will be communicated via the app, website, or email.

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
